Spyll Records 2024 Year in Review

Dec 31, 2024

This has been a remarkable year for Spyll Records. We’ve explored new directions in electronic music, ventured into licensing opportunities, and connected with some incredible music platforms along the way. Here’s a quick recap on what was released, licensed, and covered in the press:

New Releases

Bisaria kicked off the year with his Gom Jabbar/Dune Remix – a release blending Hans Zimmer's cinematic score with Indian instruments like the sitar and deep percussion. The track garnered attention from electronic music blogs including Run The Trap and Dancing Astronaut for its cross-cultural fusion and atmospheric depth.

In March 2024, Subarctic released "Illusions" ft. Paolo DC – a track noted for its emotive melodies and complex production, reaffirming Subarctic as an artist to watch in the electronic music scene.

In April 2024, Bisaria released an original track, "Vendetta," which was featured in Wonderland Magazine. Shortly after, he released a remix of Billie Eilish's "Lunch," which won the remix contest hosted by Interscope Records in July 2024 and topped HypeMachine's charts for an entire week. In June 2024, he released the "Kashmira" EP, which earned recognition from This Song Is Sick.

Tom Apex made his mark with "Pure Imagination" ft. ASUNDER, a genre-blending house track that pushes the boundaries of electronic music and covers a classic song.

Subarctic continued his momentum with "Gaze," "Remorse," and "Light Talk" ft. rossxo – all noteworthy tracks that led to exciting licensing opportunities, including collaborations with Roland

Tom Apex's latest release, 2003, showcases his continued artistic growth – a direction we're excited to hear more of in the future!

Licensing Deals & Brand Partnerships

Bisaria's track Deadlock was featured in Givenchy's December 2023 L'Interdit campaign, reaching over 100 million TikTok views and 500,000 Instagram views. Additionally, his work appeared in campaigns for The Emmys, Vuori, Whoop, CamelBak, Biossance, Logitech, Ulysse Nardin, TYR Sport, and Strava—with "Dosha" from his new EP Kashmira featured in the latter two.

Subarctic's music has made significant waves in the commercial space, enhancing major campaigns for industry leaders like Roland, where his innovative sound design perfectly complemented their cutting-edge music technology. His tracks were also featured in campaigns for global fashion retailer Shein, premium headwear brand Melin, and luxury boat manufacturer MasterCraft. With monthly streaming numbers consistently growing across platforms, and an impressive portfolio of licensing deals, Subarctic has positioned himself as one of our most promising artists. His unique blend of atmospheric soundscapes and driving rhythms continues to attract both listeners and commercial partners.
